Bryan swallowed hard and kept gaping at the men.

“Did you hear what I just said?” The gang leader snapped at him and he nodded.

“Y – Yes. Uh, but I don't know what you people do.”

The man chuckled. “You'll find out soon enough.”

“Can I refuse?”

“You don't have the luxury of making a decision now. You're here already and you can't leave anymore unless you're a spy.” The gang leader said domineeringly. He was the authority at the place and whatever he said must be.

“I'm not a spy. Everything I just said is the truth.” Bryan said in defense.

“Then prove that you're saying the truth by joining our gang. Well, there's no way you can refuse unless you want to be dead.”

Bryan didn't know what to do anymore. He had just been given two choices.
