Benita was at a loss for words. Tilting her head, she began to sob.

Arthur reached out and patted her arm. “You don't have to cry. It's over now.”

“That's the reason I'm crying. You don't know me, yet you've taken it upon yourself to help me even though I was rude to you several times.”

Benita lifted her face and wiped her tears.

“If you hadn't been patient with me, I would have lost this chance. Something I've been praying for came to me and I couldn't even realize it because I was busy getting angry at the wrong person who was coming to help me.”

“It's ok.” Arthur helped her with her glass of drink. “Come on, take a sip. I'm sure it'll help you calm down.”

With a nod, the girl took the glass from Arthur's hand and had a few sips before placing it back on the table.

“Thank you Sir.”

Arthur ignored her words and continued. “You said something about not having a father. Do you mind telling me what happened?”

“Sure, I will tell you everything.”

“Ok, I'm listening.”
