Chapter 169

“Well, I'm not sure Jenny will wait for us to bring dinner for her. If she gets hungry, she can get some food for herself.” Jesse replied to him with a bright smile on her face. Since she had served the dishes, she went ahead and started eating.

After the couple were through with their meals, Morris came back and cleared the dishes. Again, Arthur scolded him for not sending someone else over to do the job but Morris didn't think it was a big deal.

Arthur had changed his life for good. The least he could do was to serve him. There was no use calling someone else to do the job.

Once Morris was out of the place, Jesse rested her head on Arthur's shoulder before asking.

“So tell me, what happened to Frank then. He's no longer the manager. Did you fire him?”
