Chapter 185

Arthur stood speechless at a spot. He could not believe that Jenny was blaming him for Jesse's kidnap. She was even calling Janet his girlfriend.

“She's not my girlfriend and will never be one. Jesse is the only woman I love.” Arthur spoke to the retreating figures of the ladies. However, no one replied to him.

Once Jenny was out of sight, he took out his phone to make a few calls. He also contacted Axel to make the necessary arrangements for Benita's education. He had already made the promise to the girl and won't go back on it.

After forcing himself to eat something, Arthur tried to plead with Jenny to eat. However, she was able to come out of the room after much persuasion.

“Please, come and eat something.”

“Have you heard from the police?” Jenny asked Arthur with a serious face, she was already looking sick from getting worried for her sister's safety.

“Nothing yet.” Arthur replied with his eyes glued to hers. “Please, eat something first so you can have the energy to worry about
