“That's enough mom.” Janet replied with her voice raised as she turned around and faced her mother. Her raised voice distracted the others and an officer came to give her a stern warning.

When the police officer left, Janet let out a deep sigh before saying to her mother. “It was all your fault, Mom. You pushed me into doing what I did. If you were ever a good mother, I would not have turned out like this and ended up here.”

After glaring at her mother one last time, Janet snorted at her. “Just get me a good lawyer. That's the only help you can offer right now.”

Stella was about to say something when a policeman came to meet them. “Ma'am, you should leave now. You've had enough time with her. Just go and get a lawyer because she'll be charged to court soon.”
