In the van as they went towards the address that Duchess Dillion had sent, Caspian was reminded of something he had wanted to ask and he felt it was the best time to do so.

“Andreas, you remember the grand baron and his jibes yesterday?” Caspian asked and Andreas nodded.

“Yes, baron.”

“That part seemed to be out of the dossier. What happened back then?”?

“It was during the time of your grandfather’s reign, Caspian. The Dimarco empire was flourishing, and we had forged a partnership with the Ya’az tribe, a powerful group who controlled valuable resources in the eastern territories. We saw potential for mutual benefit and worked together on several successful ventures.”

Caspian listened intently, his curiosity piqued. “What kind of ventures did you work on together?” he asked.

Andreas smiled sadly, “We traded goods, shared information, and even fought side by side in battles against common enemies. The bond between our peoples seemed unbreakable.”
