Chapter 25

Andreas watched as Caspian rushed to his room after returning to his estate.

His heart heavy with worry. He knew that Caspian was a man of honor, always putting his family and loved ones first. But the weight of the impending danger weighed heavily on his mind. The Ottomans were a formidable foe, and their demands for ransom were steep. Nevertheless, going to war with them might be detrimental.

He followed Caspian to his room, determined to make him see reason. As he entered the room, he found Caspian sitting at his desk, his hands clenched into fists.

"Andreas, I appreciate your concern. But I cannot abandon Monica's brother," Caspian said, his voice firm.

Andreas sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I understand, Baron. But we need to be strategic about this. The Ottomans are not to be trifled with. We need to think of a plan that will benefit us all."

Caspian looked up. "I will not leave him to rot in an Ottoman prison. We will find a way to rescue him, no matter the cost."
