CHAPTER THIRTEEN

James rode on his electric bike back home, and the cool air brushed against his face. James felt fulfilled, realizing that despite Alice and Darren's attempt to humiliate him, the tables had turned against them. After all that Alice had done it was clear to him that all Alice cared about was money, she ended three years of their marriage just to be with Darren, and from now on James wanted nothing to do with Alice, and very soon will regret leaving him when she finds out his real identity.

"Good evening Maureen" James greeted Maureen as he entered the house, Maureen was sitting comfortably on the couch watching TV, she seemed to be enjoying herself.

"Good evening my son" Maureen replied to James' greeting and hurriedly strode over to James to assist him in settling the many shopping bags. James was carrying so many bags that he struggled to close the door behind him.
