CHAPTER TWELVE

Darren and Alice got into their car, the atmosphere was heavy with frustration. They both did not look happy because of what had just transpired back at the boutique, after the Manager had threatened to throw them out of the boutique all because of James they did all their remaining shopping in silence.

Darren clenched the steering wheel tightly like it was James' neck, he wished it was he would not let go at all, all his plans to humiliate him backfired at him.

Darren tried to calm himself down, stressing over someone like James was seriously not worth it.

"Darren, this is unbelievable!" Alice said breaking the silence.

"How did James manage to manipulate Bruno like that? What kind of spell did he cast on Bruno that all of a sudden he was just doing his bidding?" Alice exclaimed, her voice a mix of disbelief and frustration.

Darren took a deep breath, attempting to quell his anger. "He just got lucky that the manager mistook him for someone else, next time I will make him pay!"
