Chapter 06

Anthony went back to his room to rest. Meanwhile, Althon went around the house with Alan and some bodyguards.

"I would have gotten lost if I hadn't gone with you, Alan." Althon walked in the hallway, staring at the paintings, statues, and urns on the left and right sides. He was still not used to the luxury and splendor of this mansion.

"You can use Ansen's help if you get lost, Young Master," Alan said.

"I forgot about Ansen. I'm not used to my new life yet."

Althon visited many rooms, and he was still surprised. "I'm having trouble remembering how many rooms there are in this mansion."

Althon visited the backyard, walked in the back garden, and touched the fountain. "Alan, how big is this mansion?"

"Your mansion is the size of Esa Island, Young Master."

"What?" Althon was surprised. "You mean, Esa Island is my home?"

"Esa Island is the exclusive island of Master Arthur, your father. In addition, Adu Island, Gati Island, Pato Island, and Mali Island also belong to Master Arthur. The four islands are exclusive areas that provide many luxurious facilities for high-class families, such as hospitals, airports, restaurants, ports, shopping centers, sports stadiums, entertainment venues, luxury housing, and many more."

Althon activated Ansen. He searched for information about Esa Island and other islands. The holographic screen displayed a map of Esa Island and the other four islands.

Ansen gave a complete description of Esa Island and the other four islands.

Althon studied the map of the five islands. "Esa Island is in the north, while the four islands are lined up and connected by a bridge. Because of Esa Island's status as the residence of the Leander family, it is very exclusive. To reach this island, only those who have obtained permission can pass through the special bridge and land the airship."

Althon closed the hologram screen, observing the surroundings. "I don't have to worry about the noise from the annoying neighbors."

"Young Master, Master Anthony asked me to take you around Esa Island. You can also tour the other islands."

"That's a good plan. I will be very busy tomorrow."

Althon walked around the island and continued to be surprised. He saw vast forests, plantations, white beaches, hills, and airfields. "I still can't believe this island is mine, I was a poor man who had nothing yesterday."

Althon stared at the sea. "Those four islands are even mine."

Althon visited Mali Island, Pato Island, and Gati Island. He was still surprised at the extraordinary atmosphere of the city.

The car drove very fast towards Adu Island.

"Alan, I want to buy some clothes but I want to go alone without you and the bodyguards. I want to experience being a resident of this island."

"I can't let you wander around unescorted, Young Master. Master Anthony ordered me to guard you."

"I won't get lost, Alan. Besides, you can track me through my ring, and I have Ansen." Althon showed his ring.

"I will relay your request to Master Anthony." Alan immediately contacted Anthony. "Young Master, Master Anthony allows you to leave on two conditions. First, the guards and I will watch you from afar. Second, you can only wander around for two hours. Your whereabouts must still be kept a secret, especially from the Leander family."

"I understand."

Alan handed Althon a cell phone.

"Why did you give me a cell phone, Alan? I can call Grandpa and you using Ansen."

"It's a precaution, Young Master." Alan handed Althon a card. "This card is a limited super-exclusive card that only certain people in this world have."

Althon looked at a black card with a golden peacock on it. "There is my name on the back of this black card."

"You can use that card to purchase goods or other necessities. In addition, I've entered the number of the person in charge of the entire island and the person in charge of each island in your cell phone. If you have any difficulties, you can contact them. However, I hope you can contact me first."

Althon nodded, looking at the card closely. "I'll get off at the outskirts of town."

The car pulled over on a quiet street.

Althon got out of the car, looking around. "This is so incredible. What place should I visit first?"

"Take care, Young Master. I and your guards will be watching you from afar." Alan bowed when Althon waved.

Althon walked on the sidewalk, observing the luxurious cars and motorcycles that passed by on the street. The buildings, streetlights, and even the trash cans were very well organized. There was no trash to be seen anywhere.

Althon passed by rows of shops and restaurants bustling with customers. "They do look like people from upper-class families."

Some people started whispering when they saw Althon. They observed the man from head to toe. Some of them even started reporting him to the police.

Althon stopped in front of a clothing outlet, pointing the ring at the sign. The holographic screen instantly brought up information about the store. "Paradise Store, the most luxurious clothing store in Thondonia. This place is the place to be."

Althon entered the Paradise Store, watching the staff busy serving customers, passing by the rows of wardrobes. "The clothes in this place are nice."

Althon touched a long shirt, surprised when he saw the price. "This shirt costs ten thousand dollars. It's worth six months of my salary at the restaurant."

Althon passed by the shoe racks. "I own Adu Island and the other islands. Ten thousand dollars is nothing to me."

Althon picked up some shoes, pants, shirts, suits, and sweatshirts. He didn't realize several visitors were whispering and looking at him suspiciously.

Althon was about to pick up a suit, but someone suddenly swatted his hand away. "I was the first to see that suit, sir."

"Who are you, and why are you in the Paradise Store?" asked a man curtly, observing Althon's appearance. "Are you taking advantage of the crowds to sneak in and steal?"

The man's words caught the attention of several customers. They started talking about Althon, staring intently.

"I came to buy clothes and shoes. I didn't do anything wrong," Althon said, observing the man in front of him. "That man's face is familiar to me."

"Stop bragging! Look at you now! You look like nothing more than a lowly beggar!" the man shouted.

Althon scrutinized his appearance. He was sure that his father's clothes were not cheap. "There's nothing wrong with my appearance."

The man clucked. "You son of a bitch! You're a beggar who wants to steal clothes from the Paradise Store. You're the luckiest beggar in the world that you can enter the Paradise Store and touch the expensive items in this place."

Althon clenched his fists tightly, eyeing the patrons who stared at him sarcastically. He was so used to the dismissive stares that he didn't care.

"Gosh, how could the Paradise Store let a beggar in?"

"I'm not a beggar. I came to this place to buy some clothes and shoes. I have enough money to buy things in this place."

The man smiled sarcastically, and Althon immediately realized who the man was.

"You are Noah Julian, Alvin's older brother."
