116: Fighter’s Instinct

Barrett, who had been unconscious, opened his eyes and reached out with his right hand to grab the man’s wrist.

Using his left hand, he locked the man’s shoulder so that he could turn over onto his back.

Then, moving extremely quickly, Barrett struck the man in the face four times with his foot.

After gaining his freedom, Barrett looked straight ahead and noticed that the other person had ceased all of the kicks with his hand and was smiling despite the fact that a small trickle of blood was pouring out of his nose.

The man, who had a smug expression on his face, said, “You’re so good, it’s disgusting. You have automatic responses for every situation...”

Barrett was spewing blood on the ground while cracking his neck, and when he saw his opponent, he said, “If you had stopped hitting me after the first impact, I would have passed out!”

Barrett cocked his head to the side to look at him and then, with a grin on his face, questioned him, “What’s your name?”
