185: To Survive

The entirety of Satoru’s body rose into the air before crashing down with a thudding impact against the wooden surface of the dais.

They all looked at him, and then, almost as if in reaction to a trigger that had been programmed and stored in their heads, they all shifted their attention to the entrance of the business and looked to see who was standing there.

He was dressed all in black, from his cap to his coat, which reached his legs and was also black. He towered over everyone else in the room.

As he opened a large revolver with a long barrel and loaded a single bullet into the chamber, his white hair slid above the edge of the brim of the cap he was wearing.

“He asked us to go get him!” He said loudly.

Barrett, who was taken aback by the scenario, ran out into the central corridor of the building and aggressively advanced until he closed the space between them with a fast step and was pretty close to the person who was shooting. Barrett was surprised by the situation.
