35: To Fight Or Not

In the room where the Daimyos were watching the show one of them looked directly at the screen. Seeing Luke win a fight made him smile, and another Damyio said.

“Hyogorooyabun, do you like that fighter?”

The man looked at him and nodded. “The truth is that I do. I always like to see a fighter that everyone says is finished, coming out victorious. It feels like a moment of vindication.”

Abdul, seeing the screen, looked at Luke on the ground, completely finished, and seeing Hyogoro, he said. “I may be open to selling him to you, dear friend!”

Hyogoro looked at him and, smiling, said.

“If it survives the test, you have a deal.”

In the woods, Luke got up slowly to walk to the other side of the house. Gregorio and Barrett were fighting in that place, and as they passed the corner, he sat down, watching Barrett struggle with Gregorio in a clinch.
