36: Horrible Friend

His body swayed to the side, and breathing, he looked at the sky.

The man spat out again. The blood did not stop coming out, and getting up, he looked around him as the whole forest moved without stopping. Seeing clearly ahead, he watched as Barrett held his waist while looking straight at his face and he said.

“That’s the horrible thing about fights, friend. When they hurt you, they can hurt you deeply!”

Gregorio looked up at Barrett’s face, a half smile fading into a black curtain, his eyes closing as he sank slowly to the ground to take a recuperative nap.

His mind sank into unconsciousness, and Barrett, looking at Luke, saw how this had his mouth open, unable to believe what had happened.

He got up slowly and looked at Barrett as his eyes alternated from him to Gregorio, who passed out on the ground in total defeat.

“How the hell did you do that?” Luke asked without taking his eyes off Gregorio. Barrett said.

“I hit him, someone used that quick step on me, and I got the move.”
