SHE IS MY WIFE NOWJust as Maven took a seat on the bed, her phone began to beep from the corner where she had kept it. She turned to face it, slowly wondering who it was that was calling her. She walked over and picked up the phone.“It's grandma”. She announced. After a while, she puts the phone down, her voice changing totally into a frown and sadness. “What did she want?” Thomas asked casually. At least he has met with Grandma Clara before, and the way she acted that day made him realize that Maven must have been going through a lot to please the old lady, who was a direct autocrat.“She has fixed a dinner date with Sabastian and wants me to be present since we have a deal to sign with their company.” Maven announced.“Do you have to be there? A LITTLE FIST FIGHTThe moment they finished eating. Maven helped the chef, Abigail, clear the table so everyone else was seated and having fun. A BITTER MORNING The moment they got to the house, Victoria was already standing by the door, waiting for them to arrive. A MISSING FILEOutside the Al Thani Group Tower, Maven had just pulled up in her SUV, the same car she has been using for about two years. The car had no respect for anyone and could decide to stop even at the center of the road, causing frustration for Maven, especially on days she has to be present at a very important event. A MISSING FILEMaven hurried out of the hall and got into her car. She drove off to her office like a lion chasing a prey beads of sweat filled her body as she pulled over and jumped out of her car.
