SHE IS MY WIFE NOWJust as Maven took a seat on the bed, her phone began to beep from the corner where she had kept it. She turned to face it, slowly wondering who it was that was calling her. She walked over and picked up the phone.“It's grandma”. She announced. After a while, she puts the phone down, her voice changing totally into a frown and sadness. “What did she want?” Thomas asked casually. A LITTLE FIST FIGHTThe moment they finished eating. Maven helped the chef, Abigail, clear the table so everyone else was seated and having fun. Thomas saw that his wife had cleared the table, and he quickly ran up to her with the glasses in his hand.“That was a good meal, Abigail." He complimented the chef. A BITTER MORNING The moment they got to the house, Victoria was already standing by the door, waiting for them to arrive. A MISSING FILEOutside the Al Thani Group Tower, Maven had just pulled up in her SUV, the same car she has been using for about two years. The car had no respect for anyone and could decide to stop even at the center of the road, causing frustration for Maven, especially on days she has to be present at a very important event. A MISSING FILEMaven hurried out of the hall and got into her car. She drove off to her office like a lion chasing a prey beads of sweat filled her body as she pulled over and jumped out of her car. AN INTRUDER"Thomas, thank you for coming through for me, “Maven said with gratitude. Her tone was filled with heartfelt happiness.Thomas looked at her and shook his head. WHAT DO THEY REALLY WANT? Maven took the spoon and got a first taste of the pasta Thomas had spent almost half a century preparing in the kitchen. “Come on, mom. It isn’t That bad… She was not done with her speech when she spit out the food. “What is anything wrong with it?’ Thomas asked ignorantly. “Shut up, fool. Where is the seasoning you added to it?” Victoria always spoke to him with venom and hatred because she thought that Thomas had bewitched her daughter into marrying him. “Let me go get the seasoning. I am sorry." He said it sharply and got to the kitchen. In less than a minute, he appeared with the seasoning so they could add it to their food. They all took part in and added to the meal.
