CHAPTER 27

YOUR HUSBAND IS GONE

Thomas was pissed by the time they got out of the conference room.

“Why does your family treat you like an outcast? Like you were adopted by your father?” He asked her with a hint of pity in his tone. He had done absolutely nothing but watched them treat and talk to her like trash, but all of that was going to end any time soon.

“Thank you, Thomas. I needed you to be with me in that conference room because I cannot deal with all of them by myself.” She said it in a sad tone.

“Everything is going to be alright." He assured her and hugged her.

“I will be home early so we can play games together." She told him with a reassuring smile on her face. Thomas nodded in response and began to walk away. He swayed his shoulders until he got to the security post. He grinned at them and then balled his fist at them for almost making those dogs bite him up.
