CHAPTER 12

After about an hour of driving, the car pulled up in front of a deserted building.

“Get down, you old fool." One of the men screamed the command at Bill Steels.

He was childishly open, shivering like a wet cat. He managed to push himself out of the car with his eyes still tied.

“Please don’t kill me." Mr. Bill begged, his body shaking vehemently. He was led into the abandoned building by the men; he wasn’t sure how many rooms he passed, but he knew they made about three separate turns before they got to the dark room.

“Take off the blinds," a voice commanded, and the man quickly did as instructed. Mr. Bill’s eyes were blurry by the time the blind was taken off. He could see human figures but couldn’t make out their faces.

“Sit”. The one whom he suspected to be their boss commanded him again. The man had a voice akin to that of someone he knew, but he wasn’t sure until he could see clearly.
