CHAPTER 21

"What is this nonsense I see all over social media about you stealing from a store?". Kennedy barked at his son, who was still lying lazily on the bed.

Victor rolled up on his back, squinting his eyes to adjust to the bright light filtering into the room from the window.

"I'm talking to you, Victor Coleman. Don't lay there acting like you don't know what I am talking about. You know exactly what the hell I am talking about.".

Victor sniffed, adjusting himself to his position. He wipes the crust off his eyes.

"What is it, dad? You are interrupting my moment.".

"Get up, man; we are in a deep mess, and you caused it." He said it angrily, shoving the phone into his chest. Victor took the phone. His eyes widened when he saw his face in front of the screen. He wiped his eyes.
