CHAPTER 23

Victor was the very first person to pull in at the Greene Ville Mall. The mall hasn't opened yet. He checked his time; it was seven o'clock in the morning. He checked the time on his car dashboard to confirm.

Sitting in his car, enjoying his music, while he waits for the first person to resume work.

His intention is to see Mr. Taylor in person, so he will deliver the stolen piece of jewelry to him in person.

He wasn't going to take the risk of handing it to anyone this time. He whistled along with the song that came on the radio. Just then, he spotted a car pulling in slowly from the entrance.

"That had better be Mr. Taylor; I do have that much time to waste here because of this ancient jewelry." He tossed the pack to the side. He sniffed, tuning the A/C to a conducive degree.

He has always had the energy for a cold since he was a little boy, and this morning he isn't properly covered apart from the three-piece suit he is putting on.
