Henry's surgery was done successfully that night before.

Mia woke up with an ache all over her body. She stretched her broken leg and still felt the pain, although not as much as the previous day. She sat and took a deep breath while reminiscing on all that had happened in the past few days. It seemed like she had been in this situation for a hundred years of her life. She yawned and got up to give herself a quick look in the mirror. Her face was pale, with two pink lines cut across her left cheek. She touched it with a free hand and cursed.
