CHAPTER 79

Peter paced his office back and forth with disappointment on his face. He had asked his workers to stay at home for a few days so they could rest from the incident. Tyler wasn’t hurt that much and has refused to stay home. Instead, he resumed work early in the morning as usual, and when Peter saw him come into his office, he was shocked.

“I thought I asked you to stay home for a few days. What are you doing here?” Peter asked with a small frown, marring his features.

“I asked you to stay home, Tyler; you shouldn’t be here at this moment.” He said that and checked the time on his wristwatch.

“Seventeen minutes past seven o’clock? Who the hell shows up at work this early? Or do you have anything you are not telling me?” He raised his brows in speculation.

“Sir, I can’t stay home when the company is in this critical stage. I am not as broken as you think. I can still do my job." Tyler countered. “And the injury on your hand?” Peter asked, looking at the plaster on Tyler’s hand. "C'mon
