The men left the hospital and headed straight to the place where they had held Mia for about forty-eight hours with nothing to it.

Mia was lying on the floor on her back when she heard the boots clicking against the hard floor. She managed to turn, holding her dislocated hand in place. A foul smell emanated from her mouth and her body. She hasn't had a bath in two days, and her hair is a mess. She blew air from her mouth into her palm and smelled it.

She gagged at her odor. Her eyes were afraid.

The steps grow closer and closer, and on my feet, I jab the door open, falling to one side of the wall.

“There you are, our smart lady." The leader of the gang hailed her. Mia scowled at him.

“Well, I guess you’ve had a nice time with the insect in this damn room." His colleagues laughed at his dry joke.
