CHAPTER 77

In the large hospital corridor, thick thuds of boots slamming against the ceramic floor could be heard. Henry’s mom was just halfway from her son’s medical room when she met Dr. Briggs. With a soft smile on her face, she greeted him. “Dr. Briggs, how are you today?”

“I’m fine, madam. Here to see Henry, I guess?” The doctor assumed, however, that he was right. Even though her son had not recovered from the hit, she is still happy that she has been able to bring the culprit to justice. Mia was still in her custody, and until she was able to find this so-called Peter, she would not rest. Meanwhile, Mia had forgotten to give her Peter’s full name.

She sighed.

“Your son will be fine; it’s just a matter of time and he will be back to normal," the doctor promised.

“It's fine then; I still want to see if he can tell me a few things." She said she was still convinced in her heart that her son wasn’t mad. She had never experienced anything as such in her life. But then she keeps thinking about
