"Averill, I can assure you, your cycle is perfectly normal."

In the courtyard of Tranquil Clinic in Eden Village, Felix Zeller slowly lifted his right hand with a look of helplessness.

Before him stood six beautiful women, each with a unique charm. They were smiling as they patiently waited in line.

"But Felix, I don't feel well. Why don't you come to my room and do a thorough checkup?" Averill Davis said suggestively.

Felix smiled wryly.

Ever since his mentor, Gerald Hoffman, brought him to this village three years ago, he had faced constant teasing from these women, his fellow apprentices.

Although he had gotten used to it, it was still tough to handle, especially when they were so alluring.

"Averill, don't push your luck."

"Exactly! It's my turn now. Step aside. Don't even dream about having Felix all by yourself."

As Leslie Brown sat in front of him, Felix sighed and pleaded, "Please, can't you all be more like Eloise, Dahlia, and Karina? Focus on your training and stop wasting time here."

However, his words fell on deaf ears. Leslie's next move made his eyes widen in shock.

Without warning, she began unbuttoning her top, revealing a stunning sight beneath.

"Felix, my chest hurts terribly. Give me a thorough checkup."

Felix swallowed hard, unsure of what to do. It was truly tormenting.

"Dr. Zeller, there's a letter for you," called a postman from outside just then.

Felix hurried out, feeling a wave of relief wash over him.

When he returned, everyone gathered behind him with great curiosity.

Felix was just as puzzled. He couldn't imagine who would send him a letter—his parents had passed away, and he hadn't heard from any of his relatives in a long time.

Opening the letter, he immediately sensed the commanding tone in the writing before even reading the content.

"Felix Zeller, I'm Xena Summers, your betrothed. Listen up. By the time you receive this letter, I'll have become the first goddess of war in Dragonia. The difference in our status is far too great.

"I've already torn up my copy of the marriage contract, and yours should be destroyed as soon as you receive this. Our relationship was a mistake from the start."

Felix smirked, finding Xena incredibly arrogant from the way she commanded him.

"Haha! Felix got dumped!"

"Yeah, can you believe it? Our sweet and handsome Felix got dumped by a woman!"

"Isn't Xena the one Mr. Hoffman arranged for you to marry?"

"The first goddess of war in Dragonia? Ugh, she thinks she's so special. It's laughable. Felix is skilled in both medicine and martial arts. He just doesn't show off."

"Say the word, Felix, and I'll get you Xena's head."

Felix felt surprisingly calm as he listened to their chatter.

He knew of Xena but had never met her. Their marriage had been arranged by Gerald long ago, and he never expected it to be called off so abruptly.

Truthfully, he could have any of his fellow apprentices if he wanted, but Gerald's orders were clear: he wasn't allowed to make any move on them unless he had fulfilled the marriage contract.

"You're going to look for Xena as Mr. Hoffman told you, am I right?" asked Mira Cohen.

Felix nodded, his eyes filled with reluctance. But he couldn't disobey Gerald.

"Yes. I plan to leave right away."

Gerald had told him that whether the marriage was to be annulled or consummated, he had to obtain approval from Xena's grandfather, Curtis Summers.

No one else—not even Xena—had a say. So now, Felix had to seek out Curtis.

The next moment, everyone extended their hands toward him.

"Take these with you. When you meet Xena, beat her and make sure she understands that being a mere goddess of war means nothing in front of you."

Felix was stunned. He didn't know what they were offering, but they had to be extraordinary.

"This is a Supreme Black Card from Concord Bank. The balance should be enough for you to spend."

"Felix, money is too common. Take this letter. The largest listed companies will be yours."

"Take this fragrance pill I recently developed. Just one, and women won't be able to resist you."

"Take this key. When you have time, visit the vault at Concord Bank. Everything you need will be there."

Each of his fellow apprentices offered something unique, and Felix was deeply moved. They all genuinely cared for him, and over the years, they had become family to him.

Suddenly, something flew toward him. Felix swiftly caught it and found that it was a dragon-shaped ring. Its quality and feel hinted at its remarkable nature.

"Felix only needs to bring that with him," came Eloise Foster's voice.

Instantly, Felix's fellow apprentices wore expressions of utmost respect. Eloise, the most senior among them, was usually elusive and rarely revealed herself.

"Dragon Alliance is a small faction I created years ago. The Dragon Ring represents my presence, and whoever wears it shall command respect. You may go now."

Felix felt grateful and dared not say much more than, "Thank you, Eloise."

As he returned to his room to pack, he didn't notice how dumbstruck the others had become.

Heavens! The world-renowned Dragon Alliance turned out to be established by Eloise. And she called it a small faction.

Perhaps only she could have described it so.

By the time Felix stepped out of his room, everyone was already gone. With his departure, his fellow apprentices likely wouldn't stay in Eden Village either.Thinking about it made Felix fume. Three years ago, Gerald had brought him here and then disappeared without a trace. It was utterly irresponsible of him.The sounds of knocking pulled Felix from his thoughts. He looked up to see several unfamiliar faces standing at the courtyard gate. Even though the gate was open, they hadn't entered, showing some degree of politeness.Felix walked over and noticed a few Mercedes G-Wagons parked outside the clinic. Evidently, these were wealthy individuals."Excuse me. Is the miracle doctor here?" asked a middle-aged man with gold-rimmed glasses, looking very refined. His name was Vincent Kinsley."The miracle doctor left this place almost three years ago."Vincent's face fell. The miracle doctor was a legend in Dragonia's medical world. He was their last hope, and now, he was gone.Besi

While Xena loved Curtis dearly and had tried every means to cure him, a troubling thought crept into her mind: she hoped he wouldn't wake up at this moment. That was because Felix was insufferable. Not only was he useless, but he also dared to act superior in front of a goddess of war like her. He clearly had no idea who he was dealing with.Felix didn't respond to her condescending remarks. Instead, he rushed over to check Curtis' pulse, his expression growing serious. "It's the Phantom Poison. No wonder."Xena frowned. "Are you saying Grandpa's been poisoned?""That's right. It's the most potent Phantom Poison there is. If it had been detected earlier, I could have neutralized it immediately. But it's been over a year, and it has become more complicated."We need some rare herbs to treat it. Thankfully, the master healers you contacted did a decent job. Though they couldn't remove the poison, they managed to keep him alive."Xena's expression twisted with a mix of emotions. "Lo

"Please, Dr. Fielding! Save my father. I'll give anything!" Vincent pleaded desperately.Bernard's life was crucial for the family, and as his son, Vincent was willing to do whatever it took.Xander sighed. "Your father will not make it through the night. But since I'm here, you have another option. I can extend his life by a month. Decide quickly."Before Vincent could respond, Bernard croaked out with great struggle, "D-Do it."Vincent quickly agreed. Prolonging Bernard's life for a month was better than losing him now.Meanwhile, Wendy had slipped out of the room, looking visibly torn as she held her phone. The Quintons turned to Felix, each with different emotions. Warren felt an inexplicable excitement, whereas Nattie's and Sasha's faces were full of contempt."Felix, you've really learned a thing or two in the past three years," Nattie remarked, her tone dripping with sarcasm despite the seemingly complimentary words."A Rolls-Royce? Felix, you're amazing. I bet a helicopter will come pick you up the next time," Sasha chimed in with blatant mockery."Uncle Warren, I'll visit you again," Felix said, ignoring their words. He had more pressing matters, as the person with the Miracle Card required immediate aid.As Warren saw Felix out, Nattie and Sasha reluctantly followed. Their expressions shifted slightly upon seeing the Rolls-Royce Phantom parked at the gate, but they remained unimpressed."Are you Mr. Felix Zeller?" asked a man in a tailored suit and white gloves. "Go after him!"Then, he helped Xander to his feet and asked, "What's the Pierce of Trinity?""It's one of the most miraculous acupuncture techniques in traditional medicine," Xander explained instinctively. Felix turned and saw Sasha.Just his luck.He didn't want to argue with her, but he decided to say, "Sasha, you don't have to worry about what your father said. There's no future between us. I'll break the news to him in a month."Sasha chuckled. "At least you're self-aware. That saves me the trouble. You'd better stick to your words, or you'll regret it when I do it my way."Ruth chimed in, "You might not know how popular Sasha is now. She has more admirers than she can count, and many of them are from wealthy families. You're no match."Then, she glanced at the tail lights of the disappearing Rolls-Royce Phantom. "Renting a fancy car might change your appearance, but it won't change who you are inside."Felix nodded, relieved Sasha wasn't pursuing him. Jamie was stunned, as were others in the lobby who heard the words "Supreme Black Card".Sasha, too, gaped at Felix in disbelief. The Supreme Black Card was a rare status symbol. Only about 30 people in the world possessed it, each with wealth beyond imagination. So, how could Felix possibly be a holder of the Supreme Black Card? That was just absurd!Swallowing hard, Jamie stammered. He knew that even the cardholders of the next tier down, the Diamond Card, would be greeted by the bank manager at the door.Handling a Supreme Black Card was a first for him, and Jamie was beyond nervous."P-Please verify your identity."Though the standard procedure was to immediately escort Supreme Black Card holders to the VIP room and notify the bank manager, Jamie was overwhelmed by the situation and couldn't think straight."Alright," Felix agreed, placing his right hand on the machine.Sasha's mind was racing as she watched. Malachar was dead.Felix's eyelids twitched slightly. Although he and Specter had previously clashed in a fierce and breathtaking battle, there had ultimately been no clear outcome. However, he'd done it on his own this time—he had truly taken down an S-tier Malevolent Phantom. While he didn't think this guy was as strong as Specter, he was still undoubtedly S-tier.After spending a full day and night healing over 20 people and their souls, Felix met up with Donna at the hotel."Next one," he said.Donna let out a wry smile. Even she felt a trace of fear now toward Felix."We're still tracking it down. We should be able to find it soon."Felix closed his eyes. "Let me know when you've found it."…Just like that, a month passed, and Felix had eliminated three Malevolent Phanttal. She murmured, "Felix, just how far can you really go?"...Late at night, inside a luxury estate, Malachar lounged on a velvet couch in the living room, chain-smoking in silence. He could not shake the restlessness gnawing at him—something felt off, which was strange because he had never experienced anything like this before.Suddenly, Malachar frowned as a blinding silver light burst from his body, flinging away something that had just tried to strike him. He snapped, "Who's there?"He was stunned—someone actually had the guts to try and assassinate an S-tier Malevolent Phantom like him. However, there was no answer, only a terrifying wave of soul-based energy rushing in, instantly alerting him to the situation's severity. His body flared up again, even brighter than before, and he let out a furious roar. "I've got over 20 lives in my hands—if you keep attacking, they'll all die!"That threat seemed to work. Before the attac

Xena turned around, her eyes burning with rage as she glared at Specter. "I told you to stay hidden, didn't I? But no, you just had to be stubborn. Happy now?"She was on the verge of falling apart. From then on, she and Felix were done for good. As for headquarters, she would have no choice but to resign on her own. After all, if Felix reported her for colluding with a Malevolent Phantom, it would not just end with her quitting.Specter gave a bitter smile, unable to say anything. He would have never expected that Felix had grown this fast. The guy was already strong enough in the Ethercore Realm to go head-to-head with an S-tier Malevolent Phantom. If Specter had known that, he definitely would have stayed in hiding. Xena added, "You've got one month. Don't forget what you owe me."Specter nodded before finally speaking. "Don't worry. You saved my life—of course, I'll hold up my end. Just give me a month, and I'll vanish without a trace."Now that he had crossed Felix, pushing

Clearly, Specter sensed the brutal force behind this next attack—every single scale on his body shot up to shield him. Suddenly, a soul-crushing wave of power rippled outward. Though he managed to block the strike, his scales began to dissolve in massive clusters, proving just how devastating the blow had been.At almost the exact same moment, Lumen flanked around and pierced through Specter from behind.Even someone like Specter, an S-tier Malevolent Phantom, could not endure the pain that deep—it struck straight into his soul. Before he could recover, Lumen drove through him twice before his scales intercepted the strikes."Xena!" Specter roared again. His soul had already been damaged—there was no way he could take Felix head-on anymore. With injuries like this, he would need an excruciatingly long recovery. If something did not happen soon, he would actually die right here.Even now, Specter could not wrap his head around how Felix had grown so strong so fast. Killing one or

"Is that so? Funny—I didn't even realize it myself." Felix shot Specter a cold, mocking glare.Specter had humiliated him like this the last two times they had crossed paths, so now, it was time for payback—an eye for an eye.Specter was no longer the calm and collected figure he had been moments ago. As an S-tier Malevolent Phantom, he knew exactly what stepping into Ethercore Realm meant—it was the level where humans could finally go toe-to-toe with beings like him. Then again, it made no sense. It had only been a month since his last ambush on Felix—how could anyone grow this fast? This kind of leap was absurd, even with Donna's Mystical Explosive Orb providing feedback energy. If that Orb could boost someone to this extent, it would have been exposed to the world by now."Things are different now, Specter. Everything you created with your own hands back then—today, I'm returning it all."Suddenly, Specter laughed again. "Come on, Felix, you know how it goes. Sometimes, we hav

"Can you let Specter go for now? I'm not defending a Malevolent Phantom—I just mean, maybe you could deal with the others first?"Felix frowned hard, and he stared at her like she had just grown a second head. "I can't believe those words actually came out of your mouth. Felix frowned. It had only been one night since he had asked Xena to look into Specter, so he honestly did not expect any results yet. However, Hector's words threw him off, making him feel uneasy. He asked, "Mr. Downy, are you saying you've already found a lead on Specter, but Xena didn't tell me?"Hector confirmed it without hesitation because Xena was nowhere near his level in terms of both trust and how long they had known each other. He explained, "That's right. I only found out because someone from Skynet happened to report it, and once I realized it was someone you were personally looking for, I told them to prioritize it. "Then, I found out Xena hadn't said a word to you—so yeah, I figured I'd step in.
