The Quintons turned to Felix, each with different emotions. Warren felt an inexplicable excitement, whereas Nattie's and Sasha's faces were full of contempt.

"Felix, you've really learned a thing or two in the past three years," Nattie remarked, her tone dripping with sarcasm despite the seemingly complimentary words.

"A Rolls-Royce? Felix, you're amazing. I bet a helicopter will come pick you up the next time," Sasha chimed in with blatant mockery.

"Uncle Warren, I'll visit you again," Felix said, ignoring their words. He had more pressing matters, as the person with the Miracle Card required immediate aid.

As Warren saw Felix out, Nattie and Sasha reluctantly followed. Their expressions shifted slightly upon seeing the Rolls-Royce Phantom parked at the gate, but they remained unimpressed.

"Are you Mr. Felix Zeller?" asked a man in a tailored suit and white gloves. He was Marco Jensen, the Kinsley family's chauffeur.

Upon Felix's confirmation, Marco opened the car door for him and then swiftly drove away.

Brimming with pride, Warren declared, "Did you see that? I knew Felix would rise to greatness. That was a brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom! Sasha, marrying him would be your greatest fortune."

Warren entered the villa with hearty laughter, while Sasha crossed her arms with a sneer.

"Dad is too biased toward Felix to see through his act. That car was obviously rented."

Nattie nodded in agreement.

"Exactly! Felix underestimates us if he thinks this will get him to marry you and take a share of our assets. Sasha, you need to make Felix back off within these three months."

Sasha clung to Nattie's arm, her eyes gleamed with confidence. "Don't worry, Mom. I'll get rid of him in a week!"

At the thought of Felix's shabby appearance, Sasha was convinced he was a good-for-nothing trying to marry her for her family's wealth. There was no way he would succeed.

In the grand Kinsley Mansion, Xander was waiting for the concoction he was brewing to be ready. Only then could he combine it with acupuncture to extend Bernard's life.

"Dr. Fielding, the medicine is ready."

A rich herbal aroma filled the room, and Xander stood up.

"We can begin."

Hugo had left, seemingly for some urgent matter. But his absence didn't matter since Xander had promised to extend Bernard's life. The Kinsley family would owe him a significant favor, and getting together with Wendy afterward would be a breeze.

Wendy gathered her courage to speak up. "Dr. Fielding, could you please wait for a moment?"

"Hm? What do you mean?"

As one of the top ten master healers in Dragonia, Xander had a commanding presence. Wendy swallowed nervously under his intense gaze, clearly intimidated.

"Please be understanding, Dr. Fielding. I've also invited another master healer. He… He claims he can cure Grandpa and not just extend his life."

Before Xander could react, Vincent roared in anger, "Nonsense! Get out of here. Who do you think you are to make decisions?"

Vincent was worried about offending Xander, as it would mean losing his aid altogether.

"Dad, I'm telling the truth! It's the young man who knows about the Miracle Card. I've already called him and sent a car to pick him up. He should be here soon."

Vincent frowned at the mention of Felix. He remembered him well, especially after the latter had correctly predicted Bernard's condition. For a moment, he was stunned.

Meanwhile, Xander was just about to lose his temper when he heard about the Miracle Card.

"Miracle Card? You… You've invited the miracle doctor?"

Xander was on the verge of hysteria. Meeting the legendary miracle doctor and receiving guidance would improve his medical skills immensely.

Wendy hadn't anticipated Xander's excited reaction and hurriedly explained, "Dr. Fielding, we do have a Miracle Card, but the person coming isn't the miracle doctor.

"He's a young man who knows about the Miracle Card and says he can save my grandfather."

Xander's expression turned sour.

"Humph! You got my hopes up for nothing. Your understanding of the situation is laughable. The nine Miracle Cards left by the miracle doctor have been widely known for years. Plenty of people recognize them. Yet, you put your faith in a newbie. Ridiculous!"

Without waiting for Wendy or Vincent to respond, Xander continued, "Just tell me. Do you want me to extend his life or not? I'll leave now if the answer is no.

"You have no idea how valuable my time is. I wouldn't even bother coming here if it weren't for the Lambert family."

At this point, Vincent, who trusted Xander more quickly, smiled apologetically. "Dr. Fielding, please calm down. We ask that you proceed. I promise no one will interrupt you again."

Noticing Vincent's stern look, Wendy swallowed her words. She had only started to believe Felix because he accurately predicted Bernard's condition. Now, her faith wavered once again.

Just when Xander approached Bernard to begin the acupuncture, the door swung open, and Felix walked in. He took one look and immediately frowned.

"Doing that may extend his life by a month, but you lose the chance of fully curing him."

Xander whirled around, furious. "Who do you think you are? How dare you question me!"

Vincent panicked. He had been so focused on calming Xander down that he forgot about Felix's imminent arrival. "Get him out of here! Now!"

"Do you think I want to cure him? I'm only here because of the Miracle Card."

With that, Felix stepped forward, his presence intimidating enough to silence some of them.

"Brat, are you the one boasting that you can cure Mr. Kinsley Senior? What a disgrace to the traditional medicine world. Now that I'm here, I'll teach you a lesson!"

Ignoring Xander's rant, Felix paused in his tracks and raised his right hand.

Three silver needles appeared between his fingers. With a swift motion, the room was filled with a harmonious sound as the needles flew toward Bernard.

"Melodic Strike? How is that possible?"

Xander was dumbstruck. Only highly skilled practitioners could make acupuncture needles sing. This demonstration alone left him in awe.

Immediately, his eyes darted over to see the needles' precise landing points. At the same time, Bernard's face had turned a healthy shade of red, his skin lightly trembling.

"The Pierce of Trinity," gasped Xander.

Stumbling back a few steps, he collapsed to the floor.

His teeth were chattering as he asked, "Who… Who are you?"

Although Wendy and Vincent might not have understood the full extent of what was happening, the sight of the arrogant Xander sprawled on the floor in shock made them realize Felix was the real deal."Remove the needles in an hour. Your grandfather will wake up tomorrow fully recovered," Felix stated before turning to leave. He was here solely to fulfill Gerald's duty concerning the Miracle Card."Pierce of Trinity… My God, I can't believe I witnessed the Pierce of Trinity."Snapping back to reality, Vincent quickly nudged Wendy. "Go after him!"Then, he helped Xander to his feet and asked, "What's the Pierce of Trinity?""It's one of the most miraculous acupuncture techniques in traditional medicine," Xander explained instinctively. "The Pierce of Trinity can cure most ailments. Though it has been passed down, very few can perform it. I've practiced for five years and still haven't mastered it."Reflecting on Bernard's condition and the placement of the three needles, Xander h

Felix turned and saw Sasha.Just his luck.He didn't want to argue with her, but he decided to say, "Sasha, you don't have to worry about what your father said. There's no future between us. I'll break the news to him in a month."Sasha chuckled. "At least you're self-aware. That saves me the trouble. You'd better stick to your words, or you'll regret it when I do it my way."Ruth chimed in, "You might not know how popular Sasha is now. She has more admirers than she can count, and many of them are from wealthy families. You're no match."Then, she glanced at the tail lights of the disappearing Rolls-Royce Phantom. "Renting a fancy car might change your appearance, but it won't change who you are inside."Felix nodded, relieved Sasha wasn't pursuing him. He never liked her, not three years ago, and certainly not now. Her family's company's success had only made her more arrogant and superficial. As Felix headed into Luxe Dining, Sasha scowled, and her disdain became evident. "Ar

Jamie was stunned, as were others in the lobby who heard the words "Supreme Black Card".Sasha, too, gaped at Felix in disbelief. The Supreme Black Card was a rare status symbol. Only about 30 people in the world possessed it, each with wealth beyond imagination. So, how could Felix possibly be a holder of the Supreme Black Card? That was just absurd!Swallowing hard, Jamie stammered. He knew that even the cardholders of the next tier down, the Diamond Card, would be greeted by the bank manager at the door.Handling a Supreme Black Card was a first for him, and Jamie was beyond nervous."P-Please verify your identity."Though the standard procedure was to immediately escort Supreme Black Card holders to the VIP room and notify the bank manager, Jamie was overwhelmed by the situation and couldn't think straight."Alright," Felix agreed, placing his right hand on the machine.Sasha's mind was racing as she watched. She needed to figure out how to make amends for offending Felix

Wendy finally understood what Xander was referring to at that time. The big shot he had said needed help for her grandfather was none other than the war goddess, Xena Summers."Lady Summers, please don't misunderstand. I have no intention of keeping any help from you. However, I genuinely dare not proceed without permission from the master healer. I'm sure you know from Dr. Fielding what his temper is like."No interaction under this sky wasn't driven by interests. Xena didn't expect Wendy to explain herself so readily without excessive prodding."Just say the word, and I'll be at the Kinsley family's disposal from here on out."Wendy was shocked to the core. Such a promise was priceless beyond words. Standing before her was the first goddess of war in Dragonia who possessed supreme power. With her on their side, her family would definitely soar to great heights.Yet, as soon as she thought of Felix, a pang of guilt surged within her again."I'm so sorry, Lady Summers. This is not a m

Just then, Felix's phone rang. When Sasha and the others saw the caller ID, their fury was immediately extinguished.A phone call from Wendy Kinsley?Everyone knew of Wendy. She was the daughter of the richest man here, the drop-dead gorgeous CEO of Avesburgh, and the dream woman of countless men.Just this guy? Did he really have access to Wendy's mobile? That was beyond belief. At this point, Felix had already stepped aside to answer the call."Are you here?""In a few minutes, F-Felix. Since you're there, I've made a reservation at Zenith Pavilion. We can talk there. It's quite quiet. There's no need to change locations."Although she had Felix's permission to address him by his given name, Wendy still felt distinctly uncomfortable."Okay. I'll head over now."When he hung up, Sasha was about to burst into flames."Felix Zeller! Are you not done yet? First, you show off with an edited image. Then, you hire someone to pretend to be the richest man's daughter and call you at such a cr

Hugo's brows knitted together as his deep gaze landed on Ruth."Are you saying Felix—the guy freeloading at Sasha's—has Wendy's phone number?"Ruth shrank back in fear, while Sasha stepped in to smooth things over."Hugo, I'm afraid you've misunderstood. That guy just loves to show off. If you let me explain, I'm sure we can clear things up for you."After learning about Felix's actions at Concord Bank and his presence here, Hugo let out a disdainful sneer."That's more like it. If someone like that had access to Wendy's contact, even pigs could fly!"Ivan quickly chimed in, "You're right. It was just too much of a coincidence! We almost let that bastard fool us again."Hugo patted him on the shoulder. "How dare that piece of garbage that even Sasha despises pretend to have Wendy's number? Don't you guys agree that he needs a lesson?"Ivan caught his message without fail. He had long been thinking about teaching Felix a lesson for harboring thoughts about his woman. Now that he

The Miracle Card worked in a rather straightforward way. On its flip side were multiple layers of a special coating. Each time it was retrieved, a layer would be peeled off to reveal a new phone number. This would be Gerald's latest contact information. This system seemed to have no safeguards, yet it topped any high-tech security system. Only two people in the world could process the card for its next use—Felix and Gerald. They practiced the same unique technique, which was the only method to remove the coating.By now, the little boy had arrived at the entrance of Luxe Dining. He held the Miracle Card in his hands. The previous coating had already been peeled off by Felix, thus making it ready for use.The boy hastily stopped a heavily bejeweled woman and asked, "Excuse me, ma'am. Would you like to buy this?"Disgust instantly clouded her face."Go away! Where on earth did this little beggar come from? How useless can the security be at Luxe Dining? How could they let him linger

"I said, as long as you're willing to help, in addition to the agreed dojo, you'll also get a chance to dine with Dreamscape."After receiving confirmation, Billy patted his chest and said, "Humph! Felix thought, trying to suppress his irritation."Time to work my magic and track down that Skybound Revenant," Billy suddenly said. "Everyone, leave! Those bastards really have some nerve."He then asked, "So, with no actual evidence, I take it Abyssal Surge Sect is untouched?"Xena sighed in frustration. "Yes. We can't act on Candace's testimony alone. Even if they were a minor sect, we'd still need evidence before taking any steps."Felix sneered. It made sense now why someone would risk reaching out to him via voice transmission, trying to pressure him into fabricating evidence. They knew there was no proof.Even if he told Xena about the

After hearing Alistair's explanation, an image suddenly flashed in Felix's mind."Hold on. I might know an expert in this field. The question is whether he'll agree to help."When Felix glanced at Xena, she immediately understood and, after a brief hesitation, nodded. With dozens already dead, they couldn't afford to delay any longer—who knew how many more lives might be lost?"Fine. Ask him. If he can genuinely help, there will definitely be a reward," Xena assured him.But before making the call, Felix had another question. "What about those elite experts you mentioned earlier? Haven't they been deployed?"Xena sighed. "They've been deployed to key cities. Each one can monitor multiple locations and immediately detect a Skybound Revenant if it appears. The problem is, these revenants might possess intelligence, allowing them to sense danger."They could deliberately target remote, impoverished areas or deep wilderness regions. But those are still living, breathing citizens of D

Special permission? Felix suddenly realized something."Do you suspect it's Skybound Revenant? But that doesn't make sense. Didn't Candace confess? Didn't you handle it?"Alistair's response brought Felix a small measure of relief."When we arrived, there were no signs of Necrobound at the place. Either they got word and relocated beforehand, or the Elder Revenant evolved into a Skybound Revenant earlier than expected.""Understood. I was afraid I'd fall back into gambling if I had that kind of money. "And honestly, I feel like I'd be letting my father down."Felix understood now. When she returned and handed it to him, Billy brought the cup to his lips, only to pause mid-sip. His lips twitched in disbelief."Girl, does your clinic have an unlimited supply of coffee grounds or something?" he asked, staring at the cup packed so full that it was practically sludge. No sane person would brew coffee like this."Oh, well," Billy said with a shrug, "at least it's made by a pretty lady—still smells nice from her touch."Taking a small sip, Billy finally got to the point. "The highlight of the auction is a very peculiar bone."Felix's eyes flickered for a moment before he smirked. "Are you trying to say that I'm a dog? A bone is supposed to interest me? For Felix, the treatment itself was not an issue. The question was whether Queenie could accept it. "I can treat you, but you might not agree with the method." Queenie grew anxious. "This is life or death! You're the doctor, and I'm the patient. What's there to disagree about? Just tell me!" Felix had no choice but to explain everything. "When I checked your pulse, I detected 65 infection sites on your body. I can use acupuncture now to stop them from spreading so that no new spots will appear. But those spots need to be treated individually by hand with my needles. "Otherwise, you'll be left with permanent red marks on your skin, and there could be other health impacts." What? Queenie was stunned. There were 65 spots already! Now, she understood Felix's awkwardness. Or I can contain the infection's growth, and you can try the hospital

Even at this point, Averill had not given up her real reason for visiting and was still trying every trick in her book. Just then, the doorbell rang. Talk about perfect timing!"Queenie, I'll get the door right away!" He turned to Averill. "It might be something urgent from my neighbor. Let's catch up another time." Averill rolled her eyes and vanished. She knew Felix well enough. She'd almost had him, but the moment was gone now that they had been interrupted. There was no point in staying. When Queenie entered, her face was flushed pink, like a ripe apple. "What's wrong?" Felix had already guessed, but it was not something easy to bring up. "I don't feel well. I think I have a fever. My whole body's burning up. I was going to the hospital, but I saw your li
