Chapter 6
Author: Dreamy Fire
Although Wendy and Vincent might not have understood the full extent of what was happening, the sight of the arrogant Xander sprawled on the floor in shock made them realize Felix was the real deal.

"Remove the needles in an hour. Your grandfather will wake up tomorrow fully recovered," Felix stated before turning to leave.

He was here solely to fulfill Gerald's duty concerning the Miracle Card.

"Pierce of Trinity… My God, I can't believe I witnessed the Pierce of Trinity."

Snapping back to reality, Vincent quickly nudged Wendy. "Go after him!"

Then, he helped Xander to his feet and asked, "What's the Pierce of Trinity?"

"It's one of the most miraculous acupuncture techniques in traditional medicine," Xander explained instinctively.

"The Pierce of Trinity can cure most ailments. Though it has been passed down, very few can perform it. I've practiced for five years and still haven't mastered it."

Reflecting on Bernard's condition and the placement of the three needles, Xander had no doubt it was the Pierce of Trinity.

"So… he is a highly skilled doctor?" Vincent asked.

Xander glared at him, suddenly remembering the importance of the situation.

"Of course! He's a real master healer. I'm not even close to his level! Remember. Remove the needles in exactly one hour, or suffer the consequences."

He left behind a final warning before rushing outside.

Vincent was elated. The effort of getting the Miracle Card hadn't been in vain. Bernard was saved.

In the spacious courtyard outside, Felix stood with a look of exasperation on his face.

"Hey, are you going to give me a ride or not?"

Kinsley Mansion was located in the suburbs of Avesburgh. He couldn't possibly walk home.

Marco was equally troubled. He bowed deeply to Felix and replied, "Sir, please don't make it hard for me. Ms. Wendy just called and told me not to leave without her permission."

Wendy happened to arrive just then. She bent over to catch her breath, having run over the whole way. Her modest neckline had slipped, revealing more than intended.

Nevertheless, Felix had spent the past three years with his six beautiful fellow apprentices and was entirely immune to such distractions.

"What do you want?" he asked.

Wendy answered in a hurry, "Thank you for saving my grandfather. I sincerely apologize for everything that happened this morning."

Felix frowned. "You've already apologized. Now, can you let him drive me back to the city?"

Wendy was genuinely puzzled. She was a successful CEO well-known for her beauty and had plenty of admirers. Yet, Felix, brimming with youthful vigor, seemed completely unaffected by her charms.

"Can I know your name?"

Felix started to grow impatient. He simply wished to leave and search for the rare herbs to cure Curtis.

"It's Felix Zeller."

At that moment, Xander rushed over with impressive speed. Those skilled in medicine often had various ways to maintain their health, and thus physical exertion was nothing to him.

"Sir! I was blind to your greatness and offended you. Please forgive me."

Felix's expression darkened. "I'll say this one last time. Can I leave now? As for you, get lost."

Xander fell silent, and Wendy uneasily handed Felix a card.

"Mr. Zeller, this is the Kinsley family's Golden Card. It lists our family's enterprises. With this card, you'll receive VIP treatment anywhere."

Felix took the card, not caring much about it. He just wanted to get out of here immediately.

Sensing his impatience, Wendy signaled Marco with a nod.

As the car door opened, Xander clenched his teeth and said, "Sir! There's a significant figure whose grandfather—"

Felix interrupted with a cold look. "What does that have to do with me?"

Xander helplessly watched Felix leave. He thought perhaps the latter might be able to cure Curtis.

Unfortunately, he had left a bad impression.

"Ms. Kinsley, could you give me his contact information?" Xander asked.

Wendy gave a rueful smile. "Dr. Fielding, you've seen how he is. We, too, initially underestimated him just as you did. I'm afraid I can't."

With a bitter chuckle, Xander also left. He would have to relay the news to Xena, hoping that her esteemed position might allow her to get Felix's contact information from the Kinsley family.

After all, finding the elusive miracle doctor seemed far less likely than reaching out to Felix.

On the way back, Felix felt his stomach growl and asked Marco, "Does the Kinsley family own any restaurants? If so, drop me off at one of them."

At the moment, he only had a little over 200 dollars in his Cash App and no other savings. Gerald had left him a card with a huge sum of money, but he couldn't use it until his and Xena's marriage contract was resolved.

As for the Dragon Ring from Eloise and its connection to the Dragon Alliance, he had no clue how to use it. Fortunately, Leslie had slipped her Supreme Black Card from Concord Bank into his pocket before he left, so money wasn't a concern.

But since he had taken Wendy's Golden Card, he figured he might as well make use of it.

Half an hour later, at one of Avesburgh's most luxurious restaurants, Luxe Dining, two attractive women walked hand in hand toward the entrance.

"The renovated underground parking lot is such a hassle. We have to park over there and walk."

"Oh, come on. You want to eat something nice but complain about everything. If you keep this up, I won't buy you this meal."

"Hey, don't go back on your promise."

One of them was Sasha, accompanied by her best friend, Ruth Lester. They had agreed the day before to dine at Luxe Dining.

Even for just the two of them, the meal would cost no less than 3,000 dollars, which spoke volumes about Luxe Dining's high-end prices.

"Wow! A brand new Rolls-Royce Phantom. I wonder which wealthy family owns it," Ruth exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.

Sasha glanced over, spotting the car parked not far away. A sense of foreboding washed over her. Sure enough, as the car door opened, the very person she despised stepped out.

It was Felix.

"He's quite a looker. Is he from out of town? I don't recognize him."

"Good thing I'm here, or you'd be fooled! That's Felix Zeller, the guy I told you about. He rented that car to show off," Sasha said with a sneer.

Ruth's smile vanished. "Ugh, I thought he was some rich guy and was about to flirt with him."

However, Sasha's eyes gleamed with a plan. Grabbing Ruth's hand, she led her toward Felix. "It's a perfect chance. I told my mom I'd make that jerk disappear within a week."

As Felix was about to enter Luxe Dining, he heard a sarcastic voice behind him.

"Well, if it isn't Felix! Are you planning to dine here? You know you can't get in without a reservation, right?"

Jamie was stunned, as were others in the lobby who heard the words "Supreme Black Card".Sasha, too, gaped at Felix in disbelief. The Supreme Black Card was a rare status symbol. Only about 30 people in the world possessed it, each with wealth beyond imagination. So, how could Felix possibly be a holder of the Supreme Black Card? That was just absurd!Swallowing hard, Jamie stammered. He knew that even the cardholders of the next tier down, the Diamond Card, would be greeted by the bank manager at the door.Handling a Supreme Black Card was a first for him, and Jamie was beyond nervous."P-Please verify your identity."Though the standard procedure was to immediately escort Supreme Black Card holders to the VIP room and notify the bank manager, Jamie was overwhelmed by the situation and couldn't think straight."Alright," Felix agreed, placing his right hand on the machine.Sasha's mind was racing as she watched. Wendy finally understood what Xander was referring to at that time. The big shot he had said needed help for her grandfather was none other than the war goddess, Xena Summers."Lady Summers, please don't misunderstand. I have no intention of keeping any help from you. However, I genuinely dare not proceed without permission from the master healer. I'm sure you know from Dr. Fielding what his temper is like."No interaction under this sky wasn't driven by interests. Xena didn't expect Wendy to explain herself so readily without excessive prodding."Just say the word, and I'll be at the Kinsley family's disposal from here on out."Wendy was shocked to the core. Such a promise was priceless beyond words. Standing before her was the first goddess of war in Dragonia who possessed supreme power. With her on their side, her family would definitely soar to great heights.Yet, as soon as she thought of Felix, a pang of guilt surged within her again."I'm so sorry, Lady Summers. This is not a m

She was the daughter of the richest man here, the drop-dead gorgeous CEO of Avesburgh, and the dream woman of countless men.Just this guy? Did he really have access to Wendy's mobile? That was beyond belief. At this point, Felix had already stepped aside to answer the call."Are you here?""In a few minutes, F-Felix. Since you're there, I've made a reservation at Zenith Pavilion. We can talk there. It's quite quiet. There's no need to change locations."Although she had Felix's permission to address him by his given name, Wendy still felt distinctly uncomfortable."Okay. If you let me explain, I'm sure we can clear things up for you."After learning about Felix's actions at Concord Bank and his presence here, Hugo let out a disdainful sneer."That's more like it. We almost let that bastard fool us again."Hugo patted him on the shoulder. "How dare that piece of garbage that even Sasha despises pretend to have Wendy's number? The Miracle Card worked in a rather straightforward way. On its flip side were multiple layers of a special coating. Each time it was retrieved, a layer would be peeled off to reveal a new phone number. This would be Gerald's latest contact information. This system seemed to have no safeguards, yet it topped any high-tech security system. Only two people in the world could process the card for its next use—Felix and Gerald. They practiced the same unique technique, which was the only method to remove the coating.By now, the little boy had arrived at the entrance of Luxe Dining. He held the Miracle Card in his hands. The previous coating had already been peeled off by Felix, thus making it ready for use.The boy hastily stopped a heavily bejeweled woman and asked, "Excuse me, ma'am. Would you like to buy this?"Disgust instantly clouded her face."Go away! Where on earth did this little beggar come from? How useless can the security be at Luxe Dining? Then, he turned to Felix, who was sitting on the couch. "You seem to have a lot of money. Why not spend it enjoying women instead of asking about things you shouldn't know?" Felix remained calm as he said softly, "Looks like you put a listening device on her. You really don't give her any freedom. But with all my money, are you sure you want to mess with me?" To his surprise, Cordon laughed. "You must be from out of town. Do you really think money makes you special? Using money was another way to get answers as well. Felix asked, "Tell me—do you know the woman on this card?" Andrea was quite an interesting woman. She smiled and said, "What? If I tell you something, is all this money mine?" Felix nodded. "That's right. If you can give me any relevant information about this woman, the money is yours. You can take it and leave now, or you can sleep in the guest room until morning." Andrea's eyes grew even brighter. She sat down across from Felix, thought for a moment, and said, "I actually do know something, since you're not the first person interested in the woman on the card. "I'll be straight with you—our boss, Bazzo Lazaro, is no ordinary guy. I've almost saved enough to move back to my hometown, so if you add a few more thousand dollars, I'll tell you everything." Interesting. Felix tossed a bag on the table containing another 80,000 dollars, also withdrawn earlier. "Here's a hundred thousand dollars in total. Can you talk now?" Afte

Felix studied the card carefully for a long time, his expression darkening. With his abilities, he couldn't have mistaken Madeline for someone else. Felix was Madeline's good friend. Since he had stumbled upon this, he definitely needed to investigate. For someone like him, this kind of small matter was hardly any trouble at all. He dialed the number on the card, and someone answered quickly. "Do you need a massage?" "Yeah, the woman on your advertisement card looks nice. Holy crap, this sounded like some kind of tantric sex magic to Felix. No wonder Billy had mentioned ethics and good values earlier. Felix asked, "So, people with Soulhunters are super powerful, right?" Billy snickered and said, "How could that be possible? Life may never be fair, but it doesn't build anyone a direct path to the top. "Take the Soulhunter, for example. To keep advancing this way, you'd need to throw away all your good values and keep performing Spirit Binding with the opposite sex. "And if you do it with the same person, it only works the first time unless the other person levels up again." Now that Billy had mentioned ethics again, Felix looked uncomfortable. "So… does Soul Binding really feel good?" Billy sighed and gave it to him straight. "I won't lie to you. This thing is way more intense than regular lovemaking. Put it this way—people with poor self-control would get hooked after just one time. "But you can't do Soul Binding too often, or it causes pe

"This is a huge hassle, okay? I'm making sacrifices, too." Seeing this, Felix could only continue questioning, "Tell me why you need Xena, then. Won't someone else work?" Surprisingly, Billy actually explained, "As you know, martial artists have many different body types, each with their own characteristics. The more powerful the constitution, the rarer it is. "And the same applies to souls. You don't actually believe everyone's soul was created the same way, do you?" "Yes, Felix. You've told me this before. I won't do anything stupid." Although Luna hoped Felix could stay with her—even fantasizing about sleeping with him again—she realized it was all wishful thinking as she watched his departing figure.Felix had bought an electric bike that cost over 10,000 dollars from a nearby store. He rode it to the doors of a closed shopping mall and sat on the bike, just watching. The mall wasn't in the center of the city, nor was it too remote. The location was extremely average. However, it had been open for over a decade now, and the interior had undergone drastic renovations, indicating that it still made money. According to Donna's text, this mall was called Orchard Square. It was the place the Green Soul Scout mentioned. "A soul barrier…" Felix muttered to himself as he observed. With his current strength, there shouldn't be a problem dealing with the Black Soul Scout. However, Donna still warned him because of the soul barrier. The "soul barrier

Is there an S-tier Malevolent Phantom in Zuera whose soul core is about to break?" After saying that, he felt that something was wrong. He could kill one, and he could kill another. The chances of winning were much greater than before. It shouldn't be the same problem.Sure enough, Donna's answer confirmed his assumption."How can there be so many S-tier Malevolent Phantoms with their soul cores on the verge of collapse? That probability would be one in 10,000! It has a very, very slim possibility."Felix was confused. "Then, what exactly is going on? Why are you warning me like this?"After a pause, Donna said, "The S-tier Malevolent Phantom here came and asked me to leave."That was it? Felix didn't reply, waiting for her to continue. He couldn't leave so soon, especially if it was just for that reason. "When we arrived in Zuera, I immediately sensed two S-ti

That couldn't be helped. Most countries had short histories and lacked the means to fight against Malevolent Phantoms. Otherwise, why would we use such a low-level way to please one another?"Their "reproduction" was the fusion of souls. It was how the Malevolent Phantoms multiplied. However, before being sent here, they had rules in place. Despite being S-tier Malevolent Phantoms, they were temporarily forced to please themselves through human methods instead. The two of them felt it almost at the exact same time. "Huh?
