The students were led outside the white area and were taken to a whole new location. It was a vast open area, a raised platform could be seen in the middle, and three staff could be seen waiting a few distant away.

"Please come forth to begin the ranking test!" A female staff ordered in an audible tone.

A boy amongst the group wasted no time in mounting the raised platform where a round object could be seen floating a few metres in the air.

"The first test is a strength test. Please punch the ball with everything you've got!" The female staff informed me.

The boy took a deep breath in as he clenched his fist, pulled his arm backwards, and swung it forth with all his might.

BAM!

A loud noise reverberated throughout the area as the boy's fist connected to the ball, and what looked like a number began to read until it finally stopped at 87.

The staff recorded the number in their register as they proceeded to the next which was target practice.

Six objects appeared metres away from where the boy stood, and six daggers were handed over to him. He took a deep breath in and out before swinging out the daggers towards each target.

He only managed to hit two correctly and failed four. Once again, the targets vanished from the platform and the staff recorded the result in their register.

"Please place your palms on the mana detector crystal so we can know how many mana cells you have in you!" The female staff ordered after a giant black crystal appeared.

The boy placed his two palms on the crystal and closed his eyes. When his palms touched the crystal it lit up green, and after a few minutes he was instructed to take his palms off it.

His result was recorded and he was asked to go stand in a separate area.

It went on with students taking their tests. First was the strength test, then the target practice, and lastly the mana detection.

Lucy took her test gracefully. She was able to get a total of 85 in the strength test, and successfully hit all six targets in the target practice.

While her sister, Tana, didn't do so well. She got 25 in the strength test and didn't hit any target during the target practice. Storm couldn't quite understand why.

The duo were twins, meaning their strength should be around the same level. But one seemed hella strong and lively, while one was extremely weak and timid.

It finally got to Storm's turn and he mounted the raised platform. Mounting the platform, everyone could now see him clearly and began to mumble amongst themselves.

"Look at that guy!"

"Is he a human?"

"It looks like he is actually a human because I can't see any mythical features on him."

"He is going to be weak as fuck."

Even if Storm could hear them clearly, he chose to ignore as he was busy with his own thoughts.

'My strength already surpasses that of an orc, even a high orc..if i should display my full strength would only raise questions and attract attention, and the last thing i want right now is attention.' Storm pondered internally as he stood in front of the gigantic ball-like object.

He pulled his arm backwards and struck the ball. The number at the centre of the ball began to rise until it stopped at 10. Catching a glimpse of the number on the screen, the students bursted out in laughter.

Storm on the other hand had a huge grin on his face. He held back his full strength when punching the ball, so it ended up recording a lower number.

Storm moved to the next test which was target practice. The six targets appeared metres away and also the six short daggers. He picked up the daggers and began to throw them at the targets, but he failed to hit not even one of them.

The students kept laughing uncontrollably as they witnessed the disgraceful acts of Storm.

It finally got to the last test which was mana detection, and the giant black crystal appeared.

'Shit..this crystal would display the mana inside of me and end up exposing me.' Storm pondered internally as he sluggishly walked towards the mana detector.

"No need to touch the mana detector..we already know the result! You have wasted our time enough!" A man amongst the staff voiced from where he stood while glaring at Storm in disdain.

Hearing the words of the man, Storm let out a sigh of relief as he walked back to the crowd to wait for the final result. While Storm stood amongst the students, he could hear them raining insults and hateful words on him.

"You did well, Storm. Don't mind what they say." Lucy comforted me with a smile. Storm smiled back at her before shifting his gaze away.

They waited for a few minutes until the staff walked towards them with a chest where different wristwatches could be seen inside.

"The wristwatch displays your grade, and also serves as a means of communication. Any student who is seen without it shall be punished." The staff were informed while distributing the watches.

Storm retrieved his own watch and glanced at it and could see a glowing "F" on the screen. F rank was the lowest while A was the highest. But those who surpass the rank A are called Advanced Ranked.

Storm stole a glance at Lucy's watch and could see the letter "A" written boldly, while Tana got an "E".

"Follow the staff to get assigned to your respective dorm rooms!" The female staff ordered.

The students did as they were told and began to follow the staff behind to their different dorms. Storm was taken to his dorm and he walked into the place and glanced around.

It was a small room that only had enough space to fit two beds and a small closet by the side.

Storm didn't waste much time and closed the gate to the three realms. The gate to the three realms was a portal of unimaginable power and complexity, he quickly shut the portal, severing the connection between the three realms that had caused so much chaos. The air around the gate shimmered with a lot of energy. The atm

“What are you waiting for?” Immediately, he heard the voice, he turned and looked at Storm in shock, not knowing what to say. Derek stared at Storm speechless, he was supposed to be dead. At that moment, Storm was more like a celestial being. All his injuries had been healed, and he was looking like a newly transformed person. The transformation was so astonishing that it left him speechless, his mind raced as he stared at Storm. How was this possible? He should be dead? Derek quickly glanced at Storm's right hand and noticed it was intact, he looked around him but still saw the severed hand beside him. How was that possible? This shouldn't be happening. It wasn't a part of his plans, everything he had learnt about the Orb didn't have to do with this. Could it being a dead person back to life?Storm stood there, looking strong and his body glowed as bright as the orb. But much to his shock, he was not attacked. Rather, everywhere was calm, making him frown. Still, he walked forward, his steps echoing in the eerie silence of the grand hall. Stepping into the palace, he felt a sense of warmth overcome him, as though he had just arrived home, and this made him anxious. The warmth was unexpected, he hadn't felt this warmth in a long time. The last time he felt this warm was at the garden when the Orb was still there and this thought unsettled him deeply. He had expected more creatures, resistance, a fight, or at the very least, Mage breaker or the King of hell. Storm thought about the King of hell and what he would look like. He wondered why he didn't have a better name instead of the King of hell, he also thought about the Magebreaker. Where they working together? Three days later, a disorganized Storm stood at the edge of the forest, his eyes fixed on a huge palace in the distance. The palace didn't look anything like the realm, it looked too perfect, not a single thing missing from it, its grand spires piercing the sky, and its massive walls adorned with intricate carvings and ceiling to floor windows. The surrounding area was like a garden, it had beautiful flowers surrounding it with winding paths leading up to the palace gates. Even though Storm was disheveled and looking wretched, his clothes torn and dirt-streaked, there was a fire in his eyes, an undeniable energy coursing through his veins. His life over the past three days took a toll on him but his determination hadn't changed. As he stood there, catching his breath, he couldn't help but think about everything he had been through and what he had endured. The forest around him was alive with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves, a stark contrast to the violence he had face

Just as Lillian left, Storm sighed and began his journey, heading directly to the palace. He looked around the realm and sighed again, he thought about all that he would have to fight before getting to the palace. Storm looked around and only noticed the hooting owls sitting on dead trees. They stared at him wide-eyed as he passed, this made his skin crawl. He stared at the tall mountains that seemed to mock him. He knew the palace would be on the other side of the mountain and this made him even more worried, he would have to fight a lot of creatures before getting there. Storm thought about all his friends, he had to do this for them. His thoughts shifted to his family, why did they keep a book about the orb in the library if they didn't want anyone to find it? Storm had never met his parents, they died when he was only a child so he didn't have any memories of them, just his grandfather. His grandfather had always told him he was stronger than he thought, he never believed him but
