“Why did your stupid husband have to ruin an important event last night?” Rosaline shouted, her voice echoing in the living room.

Vivian stood tall, her face flushed with anger. She had just received an unexpected visit from her mother and her brother, Jonas. They were there for a clear purpose: to discuss the incident involving her husband, Gaston.

“You have no right to blame my husband like that!” Vivian asserted, her eyes blazing with courage.

“Stop defending him and making me angrier!” Rosaline shot back, her face contorted with emotion.

“I’m not defending him; you all are being outrageous!” Vivian retorted.

Gaston stood nearby, his face pale and clearly frightened by the escalating situation. He knew that Rosaline and Jonas wouldn’t stop until they felt satisfied.

Without any hesitation, Jonas grabbed Gaston roughly and shoved him to the floor.

“Jonas!” Vivian cried out, shocked that her brother could do that.

“He’s already beaten up six bodyguards!” Jonas replied, his voice filled with rage.

“No way!” Vivian exclaimed, taken aback.

“The bodyguards I hired said that the one who attacked them was Gaston,” Jonas continued, emphasizing each word.

“Huh, you know Gaston is really not that bright. How could he possibly take on six of your bodyguards?” Vivian refused to back down, trying to defend her husband. “Maybe they were just weak, and they’re trying to con you!”

“Vivian, don’t be fooled by your husband’s act,” Jonas said again, his tone accusatory.

“I’m not fooled by Gaston,” Vivian replied firmly. “If anything, I think you’re the one being foolish for believing your bodyguards.”

Jonas grew more determined. “Let me show you that your husband is a liar.” Without mercy, he kicked Gaston, sending him crashing against the wall.

Gaston instinctively gauged the strength of Jonas’s kick. With his extraordinary abilities, he calculated just how much force he could withstand.

Vivian quickly grabbed Jonas’s arm, trying to stop her brother from continuing the assault. “Don’t, Jonas! Enough!” she shouted, panic in her voice.

Jonas shrugged off Vivian’s hand, unconcerned with her feelings. “He deserves it!” he said, still furious.

Gaston couldn’t accept this treatment, especially since Vivian was trying to protect him. But he was desperate to appear weak in front of them.

Vivian’s frustration grew. “Stop it, Jonas!” She looked her brother in the eye with determination. “I will protect my husband, no matter what!”

Rosaline, unable to contain her emotions, grabbed Vivian tightly. “Mom!” Vivian struggled against her grip.

“Be quiet!” Rosaline snapped, her voice filled with pressure.

“Why are you being so cruel to him?” Vivian yelled, her voice shaking with emotion. She stood between her husband, Gaston, who lay weakly on the floor, and her furious family.

“I have to prove that your husband is a liar!” Jonas retorted, his face flushed with anger. He didn’t care about Gaston’s condition, focused only on his agenda.

“You say Gaston is stupid, but the truth is, you’re the one who’s foolish!” Vivian shot back, her eyes blazing with courage. She couldn’t allow her husband to be treated this way.

“How dare you insult your brother like that!” Rosaline interjected sharply, standing beside Jonas as if giving him full support.

“Mom, look at what you’ve done to Gaston! He’s hurt because of you!” Vivian pointed to her husband’s injuries. “Now you’re accusing him of beating people?”

“Huh, I bet he’s just pretending to be weak all this time!” Jonas insisted, refusing to listen to his conscience.

“You're being outrageous with these accusations!” Vivian felt desperate. She couldn’t understand how her family could be so cruel.

“Vi, six people are saying the same thing. There’s no way they’re all lying,” Jonas countered, his eyes narrowing at Vivian.

Vivian’s eyes widened in disbelief. A sane person wouldn’t believe that her foolish husband could injure six bodyguards.

“You must be fooled by your guards!” Vivian insisted.

“I’m sure this idiot is the one lying!” Jonas pointed at Gaston with hatred. Without hesitation, he swung his leg toward Gaston.

“Don’t!” Vivian screamed, trying to reach her brother, but it was too late. Jonas had already kicked.

The kick landed hard on Gaston, knocking him to the floor, blood starting to trickle from the corner of his mouth.

Jonas didn’t stop there. He continued to pummel Gaston, each blow sending Vivian into a deeper panic. “Stop!” she yelled, her heart breaking at the sight of her husband being treated so brutally.

Gaston, battered and bruised, lay on the cold, hard floor. His injuries were piling up.

“Jonas, I swear I’ll kill you if anything happens to Gaston!” Vivian shouted, her voice echoing in the room.

Jonas ignored her threat, still focused on the rage boiling inside him. He was satisfied to see Gaston sprawled out.

Rosaline watched closely, beginning to doubt whether Gaston could really have taken on six bodyguards last night.

Gaston looked like he was dying, his breath coming in gasps.

“Stop pretending!” Jonas barked, as if challenging Gaston to get up. But Gaston deliberately allowed Jonas to continue his assault.

Jonas grew even angrier. He kept hitting Gaston, each punch and kick reminding Vivian of her brother’s cruelty. Meanwhile, Gaston crawled slowly toward Vivian, tears streaming down his cheeks, like a child trapped in helplessness.

Vivian couldn’t bear to see her husband like this. She reached for Gaston’s hand, trying to offer strength and support.

“Vivi, help me,” Gaston pleaded. Seeing him like this shattered Vivian’s heart even more.

Rosaline stood beside Jonas, her face twisted in disgust. “Has he lost his mind? He doesn’t deserve any sympathy!” she said, glaring at Gaston with hatred.

Furious, Jonas picked up a flower vase from the table. He raised it high, ready to smash it over Gaston’s head. “This is for all your lies!” he yelled, his face twisted in fury.

Gaston curled up, begging for mercy. “Please, don’t… I can’t take it anymore.” He looked terrified.

Vivian stood firmly in front of Gaston, shielding him with her entire body. Her face was filled with determination. Jonas, holding the flower vase high, was blocked by his sister’s figure.

“If you hurt Gaston any more, I’ll destroy myself!” Vivian threatened.

Jonas finally paused, momentarily silent. He glared at Vivian, his anger burning. “This is all to prove he’s a liar!”

Vivian fixed Jonas with a fierce look, her eyes full of pain. “You need to see that Gaston is almost dead!” She tried to remind her brother.

Gaston crawled slowly toward Vivian, his face pale and covered in wounds. Vivian knelt down, examining every scratch on her husband’s body. Her heart shattered at the sight of Gaston’s condition.

“He’s just pretending!” Jonas continued to accuse, refusing to accept reality.

Vivian turned to face her brother, her gaze sharp. “Gaston is dying, and you’re still accusing him!”

In Vivian’s embrace, Gaston began to cry. She comforted him, gently rubbing his back like a mother soothing her child.

“Shhh, darling, I’m here,” she whispered, trying to offer comfort amid the chaos.

Vivian then turned her anger toward Rosaline and Jonas. “You have no heart! Can’t you see what you’re doing?”

Rosaline replied coldly, “Jonas has to do this to prove whether Gaston is lying or not.”

Vivian couldn’t believe her mother’s words. “Gaston, did you hit Jonas’s bodyguard?” she asked, hoping for a clear answer.

Gaston shook his head weakly. “No, Vivi. I don’t know anything about that. They were the ones who were intimidating.”

“Did you hear that?” Vivian asked Jonas and Rosaline, her eyes filled with hope.

“But how could six people be lying?” Jonas insisted, unwilling to waver in his stance.

Vivian shot back, “They might if they think Jonas is an idiot!” She felt satisfaction at the shocked expression on her brother’s face.

Rosaline was not having it. “Enough! Don’t insult Jonas!” She tried to defend her son’s honor, even as the situation worsened.

“I’m not discussing that idiot this time!” Rosaline said, crossing her arms, her face showing deep indifference.

Vivian scoffed, feeling furious. “How dare you leave Wilson yesterday?” Rosaline shot a cynical look at her daughter.

“Why not?” Vivian answered boldly, though her heart trembled. “I listened to his nonsense long enough last night. But he tried to harass me!”

“Who was the man who took you away?” Rosaline demanded, her eyes blazing with suspicion.

“I don’t know,” Vivian replied, trying to stay calm.

“Don’t lie!” Rosaline snapped, her voice filled with pressure.

“Whatever if you don’t believe me,” Vivian retorted, now focused on Gaston lying on the floor, her heart breaking as she looked at his wounds.

Rosaline felt disgusted seeing her injured husband, but she remained insistent. “You need to apologize to Wilson!”

“What?” Vivian was taken aback. “Why should I apologize to him?”

“Because Wilson will take you back if you apologize,” Rosaline explained, her face showing conviction.

“Huh, he’s only interested in my body, not me!” Vivian replied skeptically.

“Even if that’s true, I don’t care,” Rosaline said firmly. “What matters is that he’s willing to pay a high bride price!”

“Oh really? Are you sure Wilson would want me if I’m no longer a virgin?” Vivian challenged, her eyes full of defiance.

“Why would you say that?” Rosaline looked confused.

“Because Gaston and I have slept together,” Vivian stated, her voice echoing in the room.

Rosaline shook her head in disbelief. “No way!”

“Gaston and I have been intimate! We’ve had sex!” Vivian emphasized, feeling the tension in the air.

“No way!” Rosaline continued to reject the idea, her face a mix of anger and shock.

“Why not?” Vivian asked, feeling frustrated.

Jonas, who had been listening, couldn’t hold back. “Your husband is an idiot; he wouldn’t be able to do that.”

Vivian shot Jonas a sharp look. “He may be foolish, but he’s still a man, right?”

“Vivian, don’t lie to us!” Rosaline said, her voice filled with emphasis.

“Why would I lie?” Vivian shot back. “You can take me to the doctor to confirm that I’m no longer a virgin.”

Jonas shook his head, unable to believe it. “This is crazy!”
