“Why did you reinstate them?” Tiwari asked, holding the door open for Milton.

“They know the routine.” His answer was simple.

“Not because of Brianna?” Tiwari decided to test the waters.

Milton ignored him and turned to Aida, “did he say what was the impromptu meeting for?”

“No, sir,” Aida replied, struggling to keep up with their powerful strides.

At the receptionist's desk, “where do you think you are going?” The woman asked angrily.

“To meet Mr. Gabe,” Aida responded.

“You can’t meet Mr. Gabe without an appointment, you imbecile, come back here.” The receptionist called. She removed her shoe and threw it at Milton.

It hit him on the back of the head.

Milton turned around and walked towards the receptionist, anger visible on his face. Seeing this, Tiwari stopped him. “I will handle this. Aida, come on.”

Milton narrowed his eyes at the lady but walked away with Aida.

“Milton, fun seeing you here,” Gabe said, munching on a banana.

Milton grabbed the banana and threw it at the basket.
