Chapter Forty-Nine

What were the odds of him turning up here? Milton’s luck was thinning out. This was the perfect definition of the wrong place at the wrong time.

Dickson agreed to meet with Bryson because he hoped after they have spoken, Bryson would speak sense to Troy. The number of beatings he has received from him was enough.

Unluckily, he couldn’t give the answers to the questions Bryson had. One, he had no idea what he was talking about and secondly, even if he knew, he couldn’t say a word.

Now, Troy was the least threatening person. He had to deal with Bryson.

He kicked him in the stomach. Dickson grunted, “how stupid of me to come here.”

Before Bryson say anything, they heard movements.

“I thought you said you came alone,” Dickson said.

“I did.” Bryson turned but saw nothing. Upon turning, Dickson had a gun on his face. Bryson sighed, “you have never shot. Give the damn gun.”
