Chapter Fourteen

Milton was in a great mood, not because he brought a car yesterday or because he witnessed how much power he had, but because he woke up feeling rejuvenated.

Today, he didn’t look around to see what everyone was doing or even doubt whether they were gossiping about him. He was happy and didn’t want anything or anyone to spoil it.

Twenty minutes later, Dickson arrived. He stopped at the back and searched for Milton. He found him immediately and let go of Natalie’s hands.

“Milton, I can feel your happy aura, something good?” He mocked.

Milton grunted and resumed studying.

He shut Milton’s laptop, “I am speaking to you.”

“When did you become a bully, Dickson? And why am I your victim all the time? Do you like me and not my Natalie?” Asked Milton, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

“My?” Dickson grunted.

“Yes, my Natalie.”

“Who is your Natalie? Just because you have MacBook doesn’t mean you owned me or you will ever own me.” Natalie screeched from behind.
