It was also the first time Roger Jackson was taking slow steps, giving the other party time to think and decide. So, why was he going to greater lengths for Milton? Was he lenient because Milton was his brother’s son or did he have other plans?

Milton felt Brianna’s eyes on him, he smiled timidly, “something on my face?”

“Move in tomorrow,” Brianna said lowly.

Milton ignored her and gazed at the beautiful sight of the city under the moonlight. The car stopped, and Milton realized he wasn’t at the hotel’s parking lot, “where are we? Why are we here?”

Replying, “shopping.” She rushed to open Milton’s door.

“I have clothes, Brianna,” Milton looking ahead.

“You will need them soon, sir.” Brianna undid Milton’s seat belt and then patted his shoulder awkwardly. Studying her face, he knew Brianna would drag him to the boutique if she had to.
