Chapter Ninety-Seven

If anyone was Roger Jackson, they would have been excited, after all, Roger did nothing all day long but sit around, boss the servants, eat, sleep, and repeat.

Alas, Roger wasn’t excited about this, and his conversation with his son a night ago proved to him that if he didn’t find a way to get out of it, he would be here as long as Milton Jackson deemed okay.

Since his son returned late last night accompanied by his two pals, Tiwari had already left since he was busy handling Rickie’s issues alongside Brianna, he knew this was the best time to speak with Milton.

As he prepared breakfast, he thought he was being the big man here.

“He should move on already.” Roger thought as he flipped the pancakes.

He asked the servants this morning to go outside and catch some breeze or return to their beds if they wanted to. He wanted amble time with his nephew.

All of them left without hesitation, but not Lucinda. She asked him what he thought he was doing, and only reluctantly left after Roger
