Chapter Seventy-Seven

“The bouncers have been given a warning, sir. Also, anyone who enters the casino knows fighting won’t be tolerated.” Tiwari paused. When Milton said nothing, he continued, “Trevor has gone underground and since you asked me not to search him, I have.”

Milton stopped typing on his laptop and stared at Tiwari to see if he was lying or telling the truth.

The latter was impossible. But Tiwari’s eyes showed the emotions of someone telling the truth. Why would he listen to Milton this time around?

“Thank you, Tiwari. Have the leaders accepted to meet me a few weeks from now?” Milton asked, returning to composing his Email to Mr. Glen.

Mr. Glen invited Milton for a family dinner. Just thinking of sharing the same space with the Glens siblings made his blood boil. They will throw their spoons at him for sure.

So, he has been typing and retyping the response.
