Chapter Sixty-One

Milton looked back to the first day he met Brianna until now.

His uncle had promised she would guide him but he hasn’t seen her too much. And really, he understood. Brianna was busy. Right?

And there was his security. He knew a little bit about their lives. They were single. The only people he knew had family were the house managers, the butler, Roger’s driver, Lucinda, and Marielle had her lunatic daughter, Zelda.

He had been busy and didn’t get a chance to ask the likes of Lucinda what they wanted to be when they were young and other things he would have found useful now.

Milton was in a catch-22 situation, he would ask his cousin but the chances of him speaking were low. Neither could he ask Brianna nor Troy.

What now?

He tossed and turned that night. His wife felt his uneasiness but since he had replied to her badly earlier, she thought he needed time.
