Chapter Thirty-Four

“Mr. Jackson, once it is done, it will benefit a lot of patients.” Mr. Stone informed Milton. They were on their last round of the hospital. Unlike last time when he was a nobody, the doctors accompanying him were respectful. They showered him with praise after praise.

Milton was proud of himself and he couldn’t wait to tell his uncle later on. In the lift, Mr. Stone said, “the board of members heard about the donation. A few of them would like to meet you and say thank you.”

“Thank you, Mr. Stone. I will let you know.” Milton said.

The lift opened, he stepped one foot outside and almost jumped when he came face to face with Samantha. “My angels must be working.” Milton thought while sending Samantha his best smile ever.

Samantha greeted, “Mr. Milton. My apologies. I was to accompany you on your visit but got held.”

“Miss Samantha.” The nurses bowed at her, thanked Milton, and walked away, leaving behind Mr. Stone and Milton.
