They were back in the same room he left because he thought his ideas weren’t ‘great.’

Roger Jackson controlled his urge to ask him why he was hesitating. Perhaps it was because he was here for a reason at this specific time. Perhaps he wanted to see his potential. Or maybe, he wanted to see if he learned from the failure before.

Milton cleared his throat again.
