"Ah..."

Susan let out a loud scream, startled. She quickly grabbed the blanket to cover her naked body, burying her head in it.

William was also taken aback and hastily put on his pants.

When he saw Edward, he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "Darling, look who's back?"

As Susan peeked out from the blanket and laid eyes on her husband, she froze.

"Edward, why are you back at this time?" she asked.

"It is our third wedding anniversary today, and I wanted to come back early to surprise you. Out of my expectation, you guys surprised me first!" Edward's face darkened as he tried to control his anger.

Susan instinctively tried to explain, "Edward, it's not what you think. William and I..."

"Are you going to tell me you were discussing work? In bed? And naked? ? Susan, when did you switch to make adult films?" The series of questions from Edward made Susan embarrassed and angry.

She stopped explaining and coldly said, "I must have been blind to marry you. Loser, you’ve ruined my life!"

"Stop, Edward!" Susan hysterically shouted, pushing Edward away and shielding William behind her.

Seeing his wife

Seeing his wife rushing to protect that scumbag even without putting on her clothes, Edward felt extremely upset.

He clenched his fists tightly, but eventually loosened them.

"Susan, even if you no longer love me, and even denying our love and marriage... but why? Why are you with him?" Edward pointed at William with a puzzled look at Susan.

"William Michael, a complete scum, even I have heard about his disgusting deeds? Why? Why have you fallen so low?"

He couldn't bear to watch the once pure and innocent angel descended into the embrace of Satan.

"Enough!" Susan impatiently cut him off.

Apparently, she didn't care about what he had said.

"William is the heir of the M.C&Dickens, possessing assets worth over a billion dollars at such a young age. "

"Moreover, he is about to represent the M.C&Dickens to collaborate with the Morgan family from the imperial capital! Do you know what the Morgan family means?"

"And you? Just a notorious vet running a rundown clinic. Compared to William, you are useless!"

Edward forced a bitter smile on his face.

However, Susan simply pointed to the door and coldly said, "Get out!"

Edward smiled bitterly, turned around, and left.

As he reached the door, he coincidentally met his mother-in-law, Mary Shawn, who came to visit her daughter.
