A few days later, Edward received an unexpected phone call from Jessica.

"Edward, Bob is hosting a cocktail party and he invited me. I don't want to go, so how about you go in my place?" Jessica casually said.

"Me?" Edward was taken aback, feeling a bit puzzled.

He didn't like Bob, a cunning and hostile guy. Attending Bob's party would surely make him feel annoyed!

"What's the matter? Are you scared of being there?" Jessica teased, noticing Edward's silence.

"Scared? Of course not! It's just..." Edward forced a smile.

"Edward, this is a test! Are you going to refuse? I hope you can handle these situations with composure, even if it means facing people you dislike or consider enemies," Jessica said with a serious tone.

"Tell me the time and location!" Upon hearing those words, Edward immediately agreed.

Jessica smiled faintly, "Tonight at eight o'clock, at Poto Vineyard."

"Alright! I will be there on time!" Edward nodded firmly, promising.

Since this was Jessica's test for him, he woul
