CHAPTER 179

At Ayana’s house.

It was night time, and though everyone was sleeping, Ayana was sitting outside the main door, waiting for Ulmer to return.

Two squirrels were playing in the distance, scurrying up and down the trees, but Ayana couldn’t be bothered to even glance at them right now.
