Calvin looked for Ulmer but didn’t find him anywhere in the house, so he asked Mollie where he was. She told him Ulmer and Ben were sleeping on the rooftop.

Calvin was shocked. “They slept outside? How would they bear the cold?”

“They are young, so they can bear it, Mr. Calvin,” Mollie said, smiling because Calvin and his family members were so rich they were acting like sleeping outside was a difficult thing when it was not an uncommon thing for the middle class and especially the lower class people.

Calvin wasn’t willing to climb the stairs, so he had to wait for them to come down.

Meanwhile, on the rooftop.

Ulmer was sleeping soundly, which annoyed Ben quite a bit. He was already awake. “Tsk, I couldn’t even get good sleep because he kept snoring like a pig!”

Ben sat up and looked angrily at Ulmer who was seemingly having the sleep of his life. He felt like pouring a bucket of cold water on Ulmer right now.

“His family died, but he’s able to sleep so well,” Ben shook his head. “I g
