Ivy woke up late that day, so she quickly came to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, but to her surprise, Mollie had already finished cooking it.

“W-What are you doing here?” Ivy looked at the items. “Did you cook all these?”

“Yeah, you were sleeping, so I thought I should help,” Mollie said.

Ivy frowned. “You should have woken me up, but you made use of the situation to cook this crap. You think they’re going to eat what you made when you haven’t cooked in years?”

“Your husband grew up with the food I made, Ivy,” Mollie retorted. “Even after your marriage, who made you food? Didn’t you quarrel with your husband, saying that you don’t want to cook or clean? Didn’t you go back to your house and stay there for months? By God’s grace, you changed your mind because you got pregnant. Otherwise, you probably would have taken divorce back then, right?”

“Don’t put words in my mouth!” Ivy hissed at her. She would have shouted, but she didn’t want others to hear their quarrel.
