As Ulmer served Calvin and Fiona, Mollie served her son Jamie.

All three of them tried the salad first because it was more eye-catching compared to the other two dishes.

Calvin hesitantly tasted the dish, but his impression immediately changed. Fiona also looked at him, and they nodded together. Their body language clearly told Ivy that they were satisfied by its taste.

Ivy waited for Jamie’s response.

And Jamie faintly smiled at his mother after tasting the salad. Though he didn’t say a word, Ivy could see that he liked the salad.

Just Mollie served the salad to Ivy and said, “Actually, my daughter-in-law tasted the salad first and then added some salt, so she’s also responsible for its taste.”

Calvin and Fiona looked at Ivy, forcing her to smile awkwardly.

(Is she trying to embarrass me?) Ivy quickly tasted it and didn’t find any excess saltiness to it. (What the… I’m sure I added extra salt to ruin its taste, so why does it taste the same as before? Did she somehow remove the salt?
