As the sun dipped below the skyline of the city, the shadows of the buildings grew longer.

While staring at the sky above the horizon that was hues of orange and golden, Ulmer was eating bread, one delicious morsel at a time. He didn’t add jam, as the bread alone was tasty enough to make him want to enjoy this flavor.

He seemed quite relaxed, albeit, his heart was thudding a bit loudly in his chest.

The bounty of a trillion dollars was looming over his head like a giant dark cloud that signaled a major storm.

Every second for Ulmer felt five to ten seconds longer as he was on the lookout for all possible threats that could come at him at this very moment.
