CHAPTER 387

Ulmer’s exploration through the labyrinth-like third level wasn’t as easy as he had hoped.

Many gangs attacked him, and he had to deal with them.

A gang of smugglers who followed him from the second level also attacked him from behind. However, they couldn’t withstand Ulmer’s ferocity. He grabbed the first person and threw him like a projectile to knock down three more people.

Another gangster attacked with a knife. Ulmer sidestepped deftly and struck his arm, which dropped the knife to the ground. A slap to the chest sent that man flying and crashing into two more people.

The next person that attacked him was sent sprawling against the crater-esque wall. The wall did not break because the craters were made out of sturdy black teak wood which could last for centuries.

All of those gangsters learned their lesson and ran away.
