CHAPTER 58

The guards were rushing to where the signal came from. Ulmer, however, calmly approached the parents.

He whispered something in the father’s ears, greatly surprising him.

The guards surrounded them. There were more than a dozen of them, and more were on their way.

“What are you waiting for?” Rosie blurted. “Subdue them! Especially that bastard with the eye mask.”

Just then, a portal opened, and the parents took their daughter and quickly entered through the portal, which closed quickly thereafter.

Everyone looked very surprised from seeing the portal.

“A-An ability to create portals?” Rosie looked just as surprised as the guards. “Who the hell are you? What kind of a system do you have?”

The guard captain from before immediately kneeled before Rosie and explained, “He told me at the entrance that he came to our city on his own and that he wasn’t invited. I didn’t believe him at first, but now it makes sense.”
