Ailed

Jason was surprised it was quite unusual to see a woman riding a taxi, not to talk of a young beautiful woman. He was speechless and stared at her for a while.

“Hello, Sir.” The lady called out to him, taking him off his thoughts.

“Oh, I am so sorry. I am just not used to…”

“Seeing a lady riding a taxi? Yeah, I get that a lot.”

Jason sighed, with a little remorse about his demeanor which he felt may have seemed really harsh on the lady.

He sighed, again, just before he said the next words in his mind.

“I am sorry, I really didn’t mean to be rude.”

“That’s okay, as long as you are paying for the ride.” The lady said with a smile on her lips, holding onto the steering wheel with both hands and hopeful that Jason was going to let her take him to his destination.

“Right, take me to Number Fifty-one Chariot Street,” Jason said to the lady who thought about the address for a few seconds before she nodded.

“Hop in, Sir, that will be 12 dollars.”
