Assumption

Jason stood up almost immediately, and the Attorney joined him, holding onto the two files in his hands.

“See you, Gregory,” Jason said, extending his hands for a handshake, while Gregory brought forward his right hand as well, and they shook.

“I should see you to the outside of the building.”

“Oh no, that won’t be necessary, I am sure you have some other things of importance to do, I will see myself out,” Jason said, putting his hand toward the Attorney in a gesture that showed he was satisfied.

“If you say so.”

“Yeah. Have a nice day.”

“You too,” Gregory said while he maintained a smile on his face, as he watched Jason walk through the door, and toward the car parked in front of the building.

“So much like his father.” He said with a whisper, as soon as Jason was out of sight, with a smile of admiration on his face.

A few seconds later, he sighed heavily, and then he turned to his right and went into the next room, walking with slow but steady steps.
