Rivalry

Jason was patient, that was one question that had lingered in his mind, and he was determined to find out everything about it, he wasn’t going to leave any stone unturned.

Gregory looked at Jason, and it was very obvious that he was patient and eager to hear what he was going to say.

“Dave was really a successful man. At a very young age, he had acquired so much wealth that only a few people his age could be able to acquire. Surely he must have had people who were envious of him, to have wanted him dead.”

“So this means that he had a lot of enemies.”

“Well, you could put it that way. There was no outright challenge or anything that could entail provocation, but I am sure that some of those who felt challenged by his success would have wanted to get him out of the way.”

“Hmm,” Jason mumbled with a low tone, and then he sighed heavily, and placed his right hand underneath his chin, balancing his head with it, while he drifted into a short period of thinking.
